Día de los Muertos Celebration in Houston's Second Ward

Tampico and Divine Art Coalition will present Barrio Bash on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 3-9 p.m. at 4400 Canal Street in Houston's Second Ward, culminating a month-long series of community programming.

Born from the success of Segundo Barrio Block Party, Barrio Bash brings together live mural painting, a large-scale community ofrenda, street soccer, live music, local businesses, storytelling and family-friendly programming.

The event is designed as a space for artists, families and neighbors to gather, honor loved ones, and share the traditions and stories that continue to shape the neighborhood.

The festival will feature 10+ live murals, the Tampico Futbolito Cup, a classic car showcase, interactive art, a community ofrenda, live music, local vendors and food. Folklórico and Aztec dancers will also be part of the programming, including an opening blessing of the ofrenda.

Barrio Bash is presented by Tampico and produced by Divine Art Coalition. The collaboration builds on a shared focus on family and community engagement, while keeping the festival and its public programming accessible.
